101 Fab Shoe Finds For College And Working Chicks

Hi sweeties!

This will be my first blog about shoes! Hehe :) I do not have a collection of shoes but maybe in a year time I'll have! Just being positive. But I do love shoes!!! I always window shop for shoes.

Anyway, how do you choose what shoes to wear to school or the office? Aside from your mood and personal style, there's the weather and your itinerary for the day to consider. With these factors in mind, we put together some trendy footwear finds that are perfect for various school and work activities, with selections for both rainy and sunny weather!

Flip-flops And Sandals

Girls who attend universities with a lax dress code have the luxury of attending class in flip-flops or sandals. Working girls can wear this when commuting, too. Cute and easy to slip on (and slip off under your desk), wear them with any casual outfit--jeans, shorts, denim skirts. They're practical for toting in your bag, too, so when that unexpected downpour hits, you can save your pretty leather heels by slipping into these. They're the ultimate rain or shine footwear (provided they're entirely made of plastic or rubber)! Plus, your feet will dry off easily (no yucky wet fabric) after trotting through the puddles.

Sneakers
For casual days or days when you'll be doing lots of field work (or running around campus), wear comfy sneaks. Pair them with your comfiest denims or to a concert after work.

Flats

If sneakers are not your thing, and you can't be caught dead in just tsinelas, then these are your comfy and pretty options. For rainy days, get the plastic or jelly types. They're water-resistant and will keep your toes dry. There are also mesh types that can let your feet breathe (and dry off) quicker. For added height and flair, opt for kitten heels--almost as low as your typical flats, with just that teeny-weeny bit of elevation.

Brogues And Boots

For stylish, statement-making footwear, pick up on-trend plastic brogues, ankle boots, and super cute rain boots that you can wear with anything--jeans, skirts, shorts, and even dresses, if you can pull it off! Better than flip-flops that can get your feet wet just as easily as it can let it dry, boots actually keep your footsies dry from the toes to the ankles!

Wedges And Platforms

If you simply can't afford to lug around an extra pair of shoes when your day would take you from a busy school or work day to a party at night, then wear wedges or platforms. They go with your day clothes and provide instant glam for night, yet are comfy enough to walk around in almost all day, thanks to the thick wedge or platform that eases the pressure off your foot arches. They're totally on-trend, too!

Pumps And Stilettos

There's no footwear more appropriate for work, a class presentation, or even an evening affair than pumps and stilettos. Opt for studded, suede ones if you want to inject your fab personal style into your otherwise conservative outfit, or slip into plastic ones on rainy days! Don't let the rain (or stress) cramp your style. Boost your height and confidence on even the gloomiest day by slipping into the appropriate pair. Trust us, it'll add instant oomph to any outfit!

Happy shoe shopping this coming pay-day!
